His website is the first thing that makes you think the Rich Pom's work from home business might be a bit different. Initially, his direct tone and approach may steer some people away, but The Rich Pom tells it as it is - there are no half measures here. If you don't like what he says, or you think it's a scam, then he implores you to leave.
The Rich Pom ebook itself is quite good and makes interesting reading. Being affiliate marketeers ourself, we knew some of his tactics about how to earn money online were genuine. The funny thing is, most of the people here in Australia think that most Internet business ideas are scams, but affiliate marketing simply isn't - it's a method that has been exploited in Europe and America for years. It's perfectly legal, in fact, many major companies here do it - ANZ Bank, Citibank, ebay, MyCareer.com.au to name a few.
Affiliate marketing is internet marketing that allows websites to share traffic and revenue using banner and text advertisements. Merchants who sell goods and services online pay commissions to website owners (Affiliates) for sending traffic to their site. Affiliates can earn and are paid commissions when one of the following events occur:
Cost Per Sale (CPA) A visitor referred by the Affiliate purchases goods and services from the Merchant. This payment structure is referred to as - cost-per-sale or cost per acquisition (CPA).
Cost Per Lead (CPL) A visitor referred by the Affiliate completes a form on the Merchants website. This payment structure is referred to as - cost per lead (CPL).
Cost Per Click (CPC) A visitor to the Affiliates website clicks on a Merchant's banner and visits the Merchant's website. This payment structure is referred to as - cost per click (CPC).
Can you earn what The Rich Pom claims you can? That's another topic as he's obviously an expert, but The Rich Pom is genuine and there are definitely ways to earn money online listening to him.
Is The Rich Pom a scam - definitely not. The sooner people realise that the Internet in Australia and New Zealand is a few years behind the times the better.
